Dr. T. S. Sathyanarayana
Rao is
the famous psychologist and Sexologist of Mandya
and professor and
H O D of psychology department in J S S Medical
College Mysore. As a Student of Davanagere
Medical College he awarded by Gold Medal in M.B.B.S. in the year 1978-79. He
served in a few hospitals and then did his master degree in Vellore Christian Hospital & College in the year 1980-83.

Dr. T.S.S. Rao has written many articles in Kannada Medicine Science
encyclopedia which is published by Hampi University The book ‘The management of common
sexual problems in medical practice’ is written by him with his wife Dr. Vasumathi S. Rao who is a
leading Gynecologist in Mandya now. Dr. Rao has written a chapter about the sexual interests in
the book ‘The hand book of common sexual problems’ published by the family
planning association of India editor (Dr. Raj
Brahma Bhat) He was the editor for the bulletin of
Indian Psychological Association. Now he is in the editorial board of FPAI
& FLASH MUMBAI. from 2000 he is the editor of
the Indian Journal of psychological medicine from the south Indian division
of Indian Psychological Association. Now he is the columnist in JEEVANADI
& ADARSHA GANDA HENDATHI Kannada monthly magazine.
